My Services

Customized to Your Needs

Different businesses require different types of process support. Below are the categories of work most commonly requested by my clients.

Individual Process Improvement

You already know which processes need to be defined, documented, or improved but you don’t have the time, capacity, or internal skills to do the work well.

The work includes:

  • Standard templates.

  • Clearly documented processes for the specific workflow you’ve identified.

  • Cleanup of existing, related process documents

  • Support with training your team on the updated processes.

  • Recommendations for managing and maintaining those processes.

Monthly Process Support

You need support defining and documenting processes across one or more roles or departments. You may be dealing with multiple versions, out-of-date SOPs, or gaps in your SOP library.

You need a system to manage and maintain your processes, and you don’t have the time, skills, or desire to tackle this on your own.

I provide hands-on support and coaching to help you complete the work at a pace that fits your availability and budget.

The work includes:

  • Standard templates.

  • A customized roadmap for completing the work.

  • Clearly documented processes across roles or departments.

  • Cleanup of existing, related process documents.

  • Support with training your team on the updated processes.

  • Recommendations for managing and maintaining processes over time.

Process Knowledge Capture

A key employee has given notice, and critical process knowledge lives only in their head. Before that knowledge can walk out the door, I work directly with them to document the details in clear, usable language others can understand.

My outside perspective and neutral position are highly effective for gathering what you need to retain, even as their thoughts and attention naturally shift to what’s next.

The work includes:

  • Standard templates.

  • A prioritized list of processes to guide the work if time is limited.

  • Clearly documented processes focused on critical knowledge.

  • Identification of related existing processes, cleaned up as time allows.

  • Recommendations for managing and maintaining processes going forward.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?

I live near Seattle, Washington and work with clients throughout the United States. Most of my work is done via recorded video calls, which saves travel costs and allows me to focus on asking the right questions rather than taking notes. It also allows me to gather the most detail while taking as little of your time as possible.

Do I own the work?

Yes! One of the first steps is setting up a shared workspace on your platform so you have access to and ownership of all work, from the beginning.

Do I need to use a specific platform?

No. Google and Microsoft platforms work well for documenting and managing processes, but another platform you already use may work just fine. We’ll choose tools that make sense for your organization.

Can you help me improve my time and task management?

If you’re looking for help building daily habits or improving personal productivity, you’ll want to work with a productivity expert.

My focus is your business processes. I can help you define and manage the processes related to email, such as account management, access control, and defining responsibility for monitoring email addresses.

Efficient work habits are valuable, but no amount of productivity tools or techniques can compensate for a broken underlying process.

Do you use AI to do the work?

Yes, thoughtfully and selectively, and only with your permission. AI can be useful for tasks like creating initial drafts, combining multiple versions, or brainstorming.

I use a paid version of ChatGPT, which uses a more current LLM and does not use conversations to train the LLM. It is a support tool, not a replacement for critical thinking or experience. All AI output is reviewed carefully for accuracy and logic.

We’ll discuss data sensitivity and your comfort level with AI at the start of the engagement. You make the final decision on whether using AI for the work we do is right for your business.

How much will it cost to work with you?

It depends on the state of your current documentation, process complexity, and other factors. We’ll review your needs and budget during the free consultation.
