About Marie
Business Owner
I’m Marie Mills, founder of Clear Solutions.
I’ve spent more than 12 years helping businesses capture their essential process workflows so they can delegate with confidence, protect institutional knowledge, and stop wasting time reinventing the wheel.
Before starting Clear Solutions, I worked for many years in the corporate world, as an Administrative Assistant, a GIS Analyst, and as a Business Process Analyst. I hired and supervised staff, managed projects, and learned about different industries.
In almost every workplace I witnessed confusion and wasted effort simply because there was no clear process. Or, only a few people knew it existed or there were multiple versions of the same process or the process needed improvement or it simply wasn’t being followed.
Clear and efficient processes are the foundation of every smoothly operating business.
Processes don’t write themselves, don’t fix themselves, and they certainly don’t manage and maintain themselves over time.
When you know you have a process problem and are not sure where to start or how to fix it, then it’s a good time to ask for help.
Client Results

75% faster sales closings: Standardized workflows turned bottlenecks into wins.
One less hire needed: Redistributed work streamlined teams and cuts costs.
Fraud risk reduced: Safeguards built right into the process.
Reliable financials: Stronger inventory workflows cut discrepancies and improved reporting accuracy.
Take the Next Step
Every engagement starts with a free consultation where we will talk about the challenges you are facing, your goals, timing, and your budget. I’ll recommend a course of action and when you’re ready to start, we’ll schedule the first meeting. And, if your business problem is not your processes, I’ll be up front about that.
The Great Outdoors & Giving Back
I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and I’ve always been drawn to
wild places. Adventure keeps me curious, resilient, and adept at problem solving.
I love sea kayaking in the Salish Sea and have enjoyed many long trips off Vancouver Island, along the BC Coast, and in SE Alaska.
November paddle on Possession Sound.
I also believe in giving back. I teach skills and lead trips for local outdoor clubs. I’m a volunteer gardener for the local food bank and a volunteer cat wrangler at an animal sanctuary.

My parents introduced me to the outdoors as a child, and I’ve enjoyed hiking and scrambling throughout the Cascades and Olympics ever since.
